Collect research data securely, without building a database from scratch.
UCLH REDCap is a web-based platform for building surveys and data collection forms for UCL Hospitals NHS Trust staff.
What is REDCap?
REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) is a secure web application for building and managing online surveys and databases. It was created at Vanderbilt University and is now used by a worldwide consortium of academic, healthcare and non-profit institutions. You build your forms in a browser, so no programming is needed.
Why use it?
The UCLH REDCap service provides a simple web based tool for creating online surveys, eCRFs and other research data collection needs. Its interface makes it straightforward for anybody to create and manage data collection tools, whilst also supporting more complex data management activities (Double entry, randomisation, data cleansing, anonymisation, etc).
We’re looking for pioneer users for free access to this new service!
