Peien is a Data Engineer and joined the team after working as a Data Analyst in the Infection Prevention & Control team at UCLH, where she used EHRs to support healthcare associated infection surveillance.

Peien completed an MSc in Applied Infectious Disease Epidemiology and has a particular interest in using health data and analytics to improve patient care and population health.

Within the team, she contributes to the development and maintenance of the OMOP extraction system and supports RADIX (Real-time Antimicrobial Digital Intervention Exchange), helping to build robust data pipelines for antimicrobial stewardship and decision-making.
